Signs a company’s culture looks good on paper but isn’t

A few I’ve learned to watch for: every interviewer gives you the exact same rehearsed line about “work-life balance,” nobody can give a real example when you ask about a recent mistake the team made, and the career page photos are years old. None of these are dealbreakers alone, but a few together are worth asking more about.
