Job Description

Hemsworth & Oak Retail Group is hiring a Store Manager to run day-to-day operations for a flagship retail location in a high-footfall shopping district. You will manage staff scheduling in a way that balances peak-hour coverage against labor cost, adjusting quickly when someone calls in sick on a busy weekend, and you will oversee inventory counts and replenishment so popular items are rarely out of stock during the moments that matter most. You will maintain visual merchandising standards that reflect the brand consistently, training staff to execute resets correctly rather than doing every change yourself, and you will drive the store toward monthly sales targets through a mix of team coaching, promotional execution, and reading what's actually working on the floor day to day. You will handle escalated customer issues personally when a frontline associate can't resolve them, staying calm and solution-focused even when a customer is upset, and you will coach team members on service standards through real-time feedback rather than only during scheduled reviews. Prior experience managing a retail team of 10 or more people in a genuinely target-driven environment is required, this is not a role for someone who has only worked as an individual contributor.
