Job Description
Harrow & Vance Infrastructure is hiring a Structural Engineer to lead structural design for commercial and industrial building projects across South India. You will perform full structural analysis and RCC design using STAAD.Pro or ETABS, ensuring every design complies with applicable Indian seismic and building codes without cutting corners under deadline pressure. A significant part of the role is preparing tender-ready drawings and documentation that contractors can bid against accurately, which means anticipating ambiguities before they become costly change orders during construction. You will periodically visit active sites to review construction progress against design intent, resolve field-level structural queries from site engineers in real time, and sign off on any deviations that come up during execution. You will also mentor junior structural engineers on the team, reviewing their calculations and drawings before they go out under your stamp. Expect close coordination with architects and MEP consultants throughout the design process to resolve clashes early rather than during construction. A strong grounding in Indian structural design codes is required, along with prior experience leading structural design on projects of comparable scale from concept through construction.
