Job Description
Lantern & Co. Design Studio is hiring a UX Researcher to lead qualitative and quantitative research for a portfolio of consumer app clients across fintech, health, and e-commerce. You will plan and conduct user interviews that go beyond surface-level feedback to uncover the real reasons behind user behavior, and you will run structured usability testing sessions that catch friction points before a product ships rather than after. You will design and analyze surveys at scale, then synthesize everything, interviews, usability sessions, survey data, into clear, actionable recommendations that design and product teams can actually build from, not research reports that sit unread. You will build journey maps that make friction visible to stakeholders who haven't sat in on the sessions themselves, and you will present findings directly to client leadership, defending your methodology when the conclusions challenge a client's assumptions about their own product. Because this studio serves multiple clients simultaneously, you will need to context-switch between different products and user bases without losing rigor. Strong facilitation skills are essential, along with genuine comfort managing several concurrent client engagements without letting research quality slip on any of them.
